Sergey Nave, MD

Board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist and General Surgeon at the Imaging Division, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (link). He specializes in abdominal imaging, ultrasound-guided biopsies, MRI and CT interpretation. Dr. Nave completed fellowships in abdominal imaging and has extensive clinical and academic experience, including published research and international conference presentations.

Alina Filyavich, MD

Dr. Alina Filyavich is a senior specialist in Diagnostic Radiology and Breast Imaging at the Imaging Division of Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (link) and Assuta Medical Centers (link). She focuses on body and breast imaging, including mammography, MRI, CT, and ultrasound. Her expertise also includes image-guided interventional procedures. Dr. Filyavich brings extensive clinical experience in both public and private healthcare settings.

Moshe Iluz, MD

Dr. Moshe Iluz is Head of the Musculoskeletal MRI Service and a senior radiologist at the Imaging Division, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (link). He specializes in MSK imaging for both adults and children, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and interventional procedures. Dr. Iluz completed a subspecialty fellowship in MSK imaging at the University of Calgary, Canada. He is also a lecturer at Tel Aviv University and has several peer-reviewed publications.

Cytologist-Assisted Biopsies

For ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration (FNA) procedures, we offer the option of on-site cytologist assistance.
A trained cytology expert is present during the biopsy to ensure adequate sample quality and immediate preliminary assessment.
This significantly reduces the risk of non-diagnostic results and improves diagnostic accuracy.
Available upon request for thyroid, lymph node, salivary gland, and other superficial biopsies.
